It was an almost-springlike day here today. The temperature got up to 47°F today, the sun was out, and everything was squishy because of the snow melting away. It's the kind of day and the kind of weather that makes you want to go outside and just spend some time in the sunshine.
Meanwhile, according to Groundhog.org, the official website of Punxsutawney Phil, we have six more weeks of winter coming. Drat! I've been complaining about the cold weather and the snow since before it really hit, and I'll complain some more tonight when another weather system brings more snow in (1 - 3 inches, per the forecast).
But today was just too pretty to complain. It was the kind of day that keeps your spirits up enough to tolerate the rest of a long, cold, dreary winter.
